Audubon Community Nature Center’s Conewango Blend Birdseed
A team of Western New York birders created this specially-mixed birdseed to attract many different birds. It is rich with black oil sunflower seeds, loved by most birds, and also includes canary seed, millet, corn, safflower seed, and sunflower hearts. The goal of Audubon’s Conewango Blend is to attract many different birds without wasting seed.
You are likely to see chickadees, cardinals, nuthatches, and titmice feasting on your feeders. The mix also contains safflower seed which is distasteful to squirrels, and peanut pieces that Blue Jays love. We included just a touch of canary seed and millet for finches, and cracked corn for the soft-spoken mourning doves.
